Freight Boost
Freight Boost LLC began in the tiny river town of Mozier, Illinois — population 40 — in 2020. What started with Travis Smock and his wife Breanne working long hours with limited internet access quickly grew into a company built on strong relationships and unwavering reliability. Many of the customers and carriers we partnered with in those early days are still with us today, and we owe our continued success to them.
As we expanded, we relocated to Southeast Texas, where Freight Boost has firmly planted its roots and continues to grow.
Since 2020, we’ve proudly served the logistics industry with dependable OTR transportation solutions, supporting both LTL and FTL freight across the country. In addition to our brokerage services, we operate Fleet Boost Dispatch, our in-house carrier support division.
Fleet Boost partners with small fleets (1–5 trucks) to provide the tools, guidance, and hands-on support needed to run a profitable, organized trucking operation. Every carrier receives a free six-month subscription to a the AscendTMS platform (a $300 value), fully paid for by Fleet Boost. We handle the setup, training, and ongoing support so you can streamline your load management, driver scheduling, invoicing, document storage, and reporting — giving you clean records for your accountant, CPA, or future banking partner.
Beyond the technology, we help carriers secure better-paying freight, build relationships with trustworthy brokers and direct shippers, improve cash flow with stronger billing practices, and reduce stress through strategic load planning and negotiation support.
